How long will it take to remove my tattoo?
Our most popular question - how many treatments will it take to remove my tattoo? Typically your average tattoo removal course will take anywhere from 4-12+ sessions however there's many factors at play.

And it's one of the hardest questions to answer with absolute certainty. Here's why -

Each tattoo varies hugely in how much ink is in the skin, how deep it is, how far the tattoo is from any lymph nodes and if it's in an area of good circulation, how old it is (how long ago it was done), if it's already been covered up (more than 1 tattoo application), if it was done professionally or amateur, if it's black or colour, how big the tattoo is, and many other factors.

We aim to remove to remove your tattoo as quickly as possible but we are also always aiming to protect your skin. Powerful settings come with greater risks - blistering, breaking the skin, infection etc which can all lead to scarring. Whilst some of this is unavoidable in the later stages of removal, we aim to avoid it as much as possible so that you're not left with a scar in it's place unnecessarily.

Your tattoo will remove in fewer sessions (typically) if it is:

Done by an amateur
Not too deep in the skin
Not densely packed & raised
Not scarred

We will make our suggestions and recommendations based on the above at your patch test. How your body heals will also be a predictor as your body does the heavy lifting when it comes to laser tattoo removal. Your body is responsible for collecting those shattered particles and flushing them through your lymphatic and immune system.
